DONALD F. EDWARDS
Donald F. Edwards, 55 of Ogdensburg, died, January 6, 2013, at his home. Calling hours will be January 10, 2013, 2 – 5 PM, the funeral service will follow, at the funeral home, Reverend Father James Shurtleff officiating. Donald is survived by his wife Cheryl “Kayleen” Edwards, Ogdensburg, parents Donald and Nancy Jerue Edwards, Ogdensburg, daughters, Tricia and husband George Joanette, Ogdensburg, Emily Edwards and fiancé Joseph Montoya, Ogdensburg, a brother William and his wife Betty Edwards, Ogdensburg, sisters, Sandy and husband Bill Ford, Ogdensburg, Anna Moran of Ogdensburg, grandchildren, Aliyah Montoya, Paige Joanette, Cayden Joanette, Jaylin Joanette and his dog Olivia. Donald was born on August 8, 1957 in Ogdensburg. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1975 and then attended the Merchant Marine College in Piney Point, MD; he graduated as an able bodied seaman. He married Cheryl Mills on April 25, 1987 at St. Mary’s Cathedral. He was a sitter at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center and was a laborer for many construction companies. His grandchildren meant the world to him. Donald liked to go boating, cook, make people laugh, joke around, and would help anyone. Donations can be made to the SPCA in Ogdensburg.
